This Year Got Better

It really did, and it is oh so surprising!

I asked Cindy to marry me on Christmas Eve, and she said yes! Of course she would have been crazy to not say yes after these 4 years of being together. Now we just need this condo deal to go through and we will be pretty well set.

The Christmas festivities were a good time today. Ate a lot of food, A LOT OF FOOD and drank a lot of alcohol. Cindy and I got lots of gifts for our condo, even though gifts were not supposed to be exchanged. It is good to feel the love the family has for us though! I also got the fourth season of Lost, woot!

We had a gingerbread house making contest which was a riot; it turns out everyone in my family is highly competitive. It lead to some really interesting Christmas Outtakes, heh.

Anyway, it was a great time, and has been a great year. Be back soon!

Bracing for Epic Christmas…

How can this year get any better?

It is raining and may rain on Christmas, I love it!  Nothing makes it feel more like winter than cold and rain, unless you live somewhere that it snows of course!

Me and Cindy are actually in escrow! We found a place that we love in Garden Grove, and we will be attending the inspection tomorrow with my Dad to make sure everything checks out so we can move forward with the process.

As any usual Christmas we will be having family over for a sort of brunch that my parents do, and as always I will eat way too much! It is so worth it though! Anyway, it is always fun to hang out with the family and shoot the breeze, so it will be a good time.

I will post news on the condo after the inspection tomorrow.

New Day, New Face, New Domain

In order to better suit myself, I have changed the look, feel, and location of my blog. Everything I created on my old blog is still here, and the old blog should be redirecting to the new location just fine. I needed a drastic change so I could recreate myself on the web, and I think I made it. As life hands me new twists and turns I will write about it, effectively making this a more personal and direct journal of my life. I never was really able to write much with the business and programming side of my life because it was so dull and secretive, but maybe now that I feel I have more “creative control” over what I can write about I can create better content suited for many, rather than some.

Check back often!
