Yes that is right, an extra day this month! This day only comes every 4 years, less the years divisible by 100 (Read more on Wikipedia)… So celebrate the Leap Year and give your employees and consultants a small bonus! They are the ones who help keep your business running, and without them where would you be?
Anyway, that is just me being sleep deprived… My client, Global Creditors Network, recently signed on a sub-tenant so being the stellar IT Consultant I am; I welcomed the company’s IT Consultant “with open arms” so-to-speak. I am helping the company settle in and assisting with their infrastructure setup. It has been pretty stressful and tiring for me, so I bet their consultant is about 100 times worse than how I feel.
So that has pretty much been my week this week, once this is over I will be back on track. Many things are about ready to rock-and-roll, so I am starting to get excited! I will have more updates soon!

There are a few trade shows coming up in Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada that I will be taking part. Whether it is for my business or one of my clients businesses, I will be there to help sell a product or service.
To me, and I am sure many others, a big selling point is not just the sales person’s presentation, but also the booth they are in, their surroundings. Sometimes your best ability to entice a new customer is to catch their eye with professional banner stands first, then try to sell to them when you have them hooked. I have been searching for a company whom manufacture, from start to finish, trade show booths for a fair price. Upon my exhaustive searches I found Camelback Displays, Inc.
Camelback Displays is located in Texas, and they provide exactly what I have been looking for in the trade show department. They help in every aspect of a trade show booth creation -design, development, and delivery. They offer everything you can think of, lighting, flooring, pipe and drape, furniture. Camelback Displays is definitely a one-stop for your trade show needs. I will certainly be contacting them for all my future needs, as well as my clients future needs.
I suggest taking a look at Camelback Displays to see what they offer if you are searching for a reputable company to create a professional trade show booths.

After 2 years of trying / forgetting to get my online bill pay set up with Sallie Mae for my student loans, I finally got it working. I had to call their support to get it rectified, as every time I tried to open an account I was denied because “I already have an account.” Well after about 15 minutes on the phone with some guy from India, whom had all my financial information mind you, my account was forced expired so I could recreate it.
Anyway, I am happy I can now pay my bills online since I have at times lost my invoice and caused a late fee. I guess it is time to sign up for LifeLock to protect myself from people who have access to my financial information…

As a promised, but long delayed follow up to my MooTools Accordion Menu tutorial, I have officially written my next tutorial on getting a nested MooTools Accordion up and running. You can view the MooTools Nested Accordion Menu if you are interested, as I am sure there are a few people who are since I can see my website was getting many hits for the exact keyword.
So check it out, leave me a comment if you find it useful. Thank you and have a great day!

Wow, this month is just flying by! I have been inundated with programming and designing for various projects, leaving me with little creativity time for my own needs. (Not complaining one bit though!)
I do hope that starting next week I can put aside some time each day to focus on writing some meaningful / helpful content for my blog. It would benefit me to get some thoughts and ideas written out as it will help me keep on track.
On a side-note:
I received a fortune from a cookie today that stated “You will soon change your present line of work.” Generally I do not have feelings towards things like fate, luck, etc. but this fortune, I believe, is more than a coincidence.
The reason for my belief in this is because my business path has been migrating from one end of the technology field to the other ever since I started my business 2 years ago. With a few current and upcoming projects, I may end up being a full-time developer rather than “the IT Guy”. This is really something that I have never envisioned myself doing, but it is happening and I am basically going with the flow and making a better living along the way.
More to come shortly…
