Well the Christmas celebration has come and gone (too quickly!). I had a great time, got some really awesome gifts, had a great time hanging out with family, and had a gingerbread house making contest. My team, Nette and I, lost to team Mychael and Cindy. They cheated, you know, bribed the judge with some candy, haha. All in good fun though!
I hope everyone else had a great time meeting with family and exchanging gifts. Let me know how your Christmas was!
The end of the year is rapidly approaching, and I still have much to do, it is time to get back to work! Also, if you want to read some very interesting political Christmas information please read this article, “Merry Christmas and Off With Your Head” by my friend Static Brain.

Ahh how I miss making gingerbread houses with my kids when they were little. I remember frosting on sticky little faces. I had forgotten all about it, until I read what you wrote. Thanks for bringing back some sweet memories.
As for how my Christmas went? Well I took in a homeless family for Christmas and am trying to help them. The father got injured in a farm accident, and had no insurance, and since he was being paid in cash, he has no chance of unemployment checks. either.
Due to his being injured and unable to work, he was no longer able to pay the rent. He just barely started working again after three months, healing from his fall from a barn roof.
These people were hard working rent paying citizens until the accident, I know this because they used to live next door to me in an apartment complex, before I got a house.
You won’t believe how this is turning out. In America (the so called “land of plenty”) there aren’t any agencies willing to help this family.
I can’t even find them a homeless shelter for them to stay in.
It’s quickly turning into a mess. All the shelters that I have called either do not allow women in, or else the few beds they have set aside for females are full. Most shelters are male only.
I have even called shelters in the next state, but all to no avail.
I started calling churches, and I am not getting anywhere there, either.
No public or private agency will help these people.
The thing I wished and prayed for to get for Christmas (a home for this man, his wife, and their teen-age daughter) doesn’t appear to be materializing any time soon.
I can’t put them out on the street. The weather here was 19 degrees farenheight yesterday.
If I keep them in my home much longer, I will be in the street myself. Feeding three extra people is hurting me financially.
The really bad part of this whole mess is that the man just went back to full time work. But if he doesn’t have a place to live near his work, he will end up losing his job.
I can only keep them off the street another week or two before I go under myself. It will probably take them longer than that to save for deposits for utilities and rent.
And they call this “America: Land of Plenty”. What a joke…
So now what I am praying for is a miracle. If you believe in God will you ask him for a miracle for us?
That’s my holiday wish.
Sorry I ranted and raved and carried on. It was probably way more than you wanted to hear when you said, “Let me know how your Christmas was!
By the way, I am glad you read the “Off With Your Head” piece. It’s nice to know somebody actually took the time to read it, and consider the evidence presented.
Also, thanks for the plug for the article and my website.
Happy Holidays to You and Yours,
Peace,

I am glad to hear of someone doing good deeds in this falling world. I am sure the family is grateful for all you are doing / have done for them. I am sure one way or another you generosity will be paid back, if not by them, by someone else.
You, and the family you are assisting will be in my thoughts and prayers.
